Ports
Dar es Salaam is the main port and a gateway for landlocked neighbours; Tanga and Mtwara are smaller.
Certificate before shipping
Many imports need a Certificate of Conformity before shipment under the PVoC programme of TBS (Tanzania Bureau of Standards).
Customs
Clearance is through the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA). Most importers use a licensed clearing agent.
